05 - 16 to 24 gummy worms
06 - 8 oval-shaped cookies, for tombstones
07 - Black food-safe gel icing, for writing on tombstones (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Whisk together chocolate pudding mix and cold whole milk in a large mixing bowl for 2 minutes. Let mixture stand for 5 minutes until thickened.
02 - Gently fold whipped topping into the thickened pudding until fully combined and smooth.
03 - Place chocolate sandwich cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin until crumbs resemble dirt.
04 - Spoon a layer of pudding mixture into the bottom of each of 8 small clear cups or jars.
05 - Sprinkle a layer of crushed cookie crumbs over the pudding.
06 - Repeat pudding and cookie layers, finishing with a generous amount of cookie crumbs on the top layer.
07 - Write spooky names or 'RIP' on each oval cookie with black gel icing, if desired.
08 - Insert a decorated oval 'tombstone' cookie into each cup and arrange 2–3 gummy worms per serving, allowing some to drape over the edge.
09 - Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
